House in the forest
The concept derived out of my personal fascination towards architecture. I believe that everything can be architecture, it’s just a matter of perspective.
The house is built out of concrete and it’s placed in nature.
The natural grown materials collide with the artificial, man made house.
The architecture of the house itself is quite simple. It shouldn’t be the centre of attraction, more like the screen of display. It steps in the background and let you focus on the outside.
The house is quite small but it never feels so. As you move around, you constantly face into landscape. The thresholds between in and out, between what is architecture and what not start to blur.
The house marks just the beginning but there’s no end.
The pillars are becoming trees and the trees are becoming pillars.
The living space expands into nature and nature becomes a part of the architecture.
